This programme builds on the success of the UK Plant and Crop Phenotyping Infrastructure preliminary activity and the PhenomUK Technology Touching Life network \u2014 strengthening collaboration across academia, industry, and innovation partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Backed by a \u00a335.4 million<\/strong> investment through the UK Research and Innovation<\/strong><\/a> Infrastructure Fund and led by the BBSRC<\/strong><\/a>, PhenomUK represents a coordinated effort to secure the UK\u2019s long-term food supply in the face of growing global challenges. By establishing a national research and innovation infrastructure \u2014 spanning crop growth stages from seed to field \u2014 PhenomUK will dramatically enhance our ability to measure plant performance in realistic environments and at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
